- Avoid direct sunlight. Sure you’d think it goes without saying, but we all know that accidents happen most within the home.
- M&Ms may not melt in your hand, but the candy coating sure can get sticky. Try using a keychain or pocket sized dispenser to carry in your purse or pocket.
- The car might be parked in the shade, but your chocolate candy is melting in the wrapper! A true chocoholic wouldn’t mind having one of these Mini Cooler/Warmer w/ AC/DC & Car Adapters
- When in doubt, pair your chocolate with ice cream. Really there is no better excuse for eating ice cream than when it’s chocolate coated or even better, a Milky Way ice cream bar.
- Chocolate ice cream. ’nuff said.
- Refrigerating solid chocolate bars like Hershey, Cadbury’s and Dr. Goodbar is always a good idea. Without caramel, nougat or peanut butter to hold them together in the heat, their structural integrity may become compromised!
- Instead of candy bars during the hottest months, consider Minis Mix Variety Candy bags
. Tiny and compact, you’ll minimize contact with your skin (thus thwarting melting) and you can just pop them in your mouth! (Especially since Popables have been discontinued.)
- Now’s the time to expand your chocolate and cool mint palette! Spend time with the cooling sensation of a York Peppermint Patty. Try the 3Musketeers Mint if haven’t and never forget the stay cool attitude of the Junior Mint. After an Andes Mint after dinner and of course, mint chocolate chip ice cream.
- Forget regular milk with your cereal. Get your chocolate and dairy this summer with a nice tall glass of chocolate milk. Poured over your Cocoa Pebbles. Mom would be proud.
