World Market has released a unique combination of flavors that may spark the interest of dark chocolate lovers everywhere: Strawberry and Champagne. This chocolate candy caught me eye and, for under $2.00, buying one to test it out was a no-brainer. Chocolate, fruit, and alcohol in one bar? Yes please. And yes, I know it’s not really alcohol and just champagne flavored, but still: these three flavors will make me feel like I’m on some expensive date.
At the Bell Harbor Conference Center on Saturday, May 14th, Cocoazilla sampled her way through at least 15 different luxury chocolatiers and chocolate makers, resulting in a few purchases, a sugar high and the best tummy ache. Komforte Chockolates Ramen Noodle Chocolate promises a “savory combination that is easy to love.” I sure hope so because I picked this up for it’s weirdness factor over it’s potentially tasty factor. There are some chocolates out there that don’t necessarily peak your interest like a caramel or marshmallow covered confection would, namely the entire Komforte Chockolates’ line which also includes a Tortilla Lime & Salt and French Toast versions.
