Now that I’m on a Frey Supreme Swiss Chocolate kick, I’ve done some more investigating and before we go any further down this path, I invite you to check out the Frey Chocolate website. It’ll take a bit to load, practically the whole site is flash, but it is very pretty and well thought out. There are some flavors there listed that I didn’t even knew existed yet and the one I reviewed yesterday (Pear and Caramel) that haven’t even made it on the site yet. My guess is that they’re still developing the little story and personality that is supposed to go with it. Each one of the flavors has been assigned a personality type and you go on and take their Chocolate Candy Quiz and find out which flavor you are. Or as they put it, “find your Frey.”
Are you:
Japonais, Tiramisu, White Blueberry, Cinnamon and Blood Orange, White/Lemon/Lime, Hot Chili Pepper, Macadamia, Bouquet of Oranges, Cafe and Cacao, Pecan and Caramel, Citrus and Pepper or Pear and Caramel?
Once you find your Frey you have to go to Target to procure it, as they have an exclusive deal with them. But at 3/$5 when on sale, it’s well worth the trip.
What am I?
My chocolate quiz results turned back 5 flavors: Japonais, Tiramisu, Cafe & Cacao, Macadamia and Pecan Caramel. Well 3 out of 5 isn’t bad. (I’m not a coffee fan.)
“Milk Chocolate Lover
The milk chocolate lover has a heart of gold. You enjoy the sweetness of life and of chocolate. You’re the girl next door, but not a stereotype. You’ve made the choice to see the good in people and the world, and spread joy through your infectious laugh. To you, eating chocolate evokes warm feelings and memories. You are the type of loyal friend who remembers to bring a favorite birthday cake and whom friends can call at any hour to rehash a bad date or a bad haircut.”
So, go. Check it out. Find your Frey.

I am desperate for Frey Cinnamon and Blood Orange bars. I also desperately want to try the Rhubarb/Aloe and the Lemon. I have haunted Targets around me in Northern IL to no avail. All they have is chilli pepper and I am allergic to chili peppers! Targer.com has NO listing for Frey. chocolat-frey.com is also useless as they have no capability for making purchases and neither do any of their links. Is there any way I can get any of these bars or is it just another gastronomic lost cause?

Frey chocolate! Mercy! I purchased Frey White Chocolate May 18th at the duty free store on the Canadian side while crossing into Buffalo. That is the only place I’ve been able to find it, I had no idea Target carried Frey chocolate. The duty free store had a variety of flavors, but I was after the whtie chocolate. If you’ve never tried it..please don’t it’s awful!! So awful, that I want it all to myself!!! No one should eat it but me! lol Really though, it was more then wonderful!!
When I returned three weeks later, I stopped at the duty free store on the USA side, they did not carry Frey chocolate…. (sad face).
I’d love to be able to order it online, but have not been able to find a place in the states or Canada that ships.
I try different chocolate whenever possible, and I am very happy with the Frey product. I do wish it was sold more places…and will continue the search.

Target appears to have stopped carrying it as well. If you happen to find a place that is, let me know!
