In the spirit of the season and our previous post on a chocolate Jesus, ’tis the time of year when people look for the zany, the unusual and the tasty when trying to meet their gift giving needs. So with that, Cocoa Heaven has gathered up here today for your pleasure, chocolate candy gifts shaped like stuff.
For the computer nerd or Microsoft employee in your life, how about a Michael Sholk Chocolate Keyboard?

Got a person who loves board or word games? Scrabble chocolate tiles with the letters printed on the wrappers makes for a much more interesting game. Got that pesky “Q” but no “U”? Just unwrap and eat. Problem solved!

How about a doctor or someone with a “sick” sense of humor? Check out these anatomical body parts cast in chocolate. Brain, heart, feet or hands, eGeneralMedical has it!

Going upscale into Belgian chocolates, go for the utmost with Burie’s diamond shaped chocolates.

Then there’s always that angst ridden teen niece or nephew that will think you’re the coolest for getting them these morbid, yet classy, chocolate skulls from Valerie Confections. Death by chocolate, the best gift ever!

For the foodie on your list, consider these chocolate oysters from the Wellfleet Candy Company. They’ve got several different varieties based on actual Cape Cod oyster types. Chipmans Cove, Blackfish Creek, Indian Neck and more! (They don’t actually TASTE like oyster, more like peanut butter, ganache or peppermint. Let’s not be gross here.)

Who doesn’t love shoes? Especially chocolate ones. Gayle’s Chocolates makes the chocolate high heel shoe. You know you want it.

Gayle’s Chocolates also makes a great assortment of chocolate animals. A monkey with bananas, penguin, zebra, lion, tiger, cow, giraffe and even a brontosaurus!

If after all that you still can’t decide on a gift for the chocoholic in your life, you’re just going to have to do the research yourself! There’s only so much I can do and while I found many offerings for chocolate candy molds to make your own, that’s not the point, this list is for the click and ship shopper. Not the do it yourself chocolatier! Merry Chocolate-Mas!

I like the chocolate high heel shoes and the diamonds the best. As for the chocolate Jesus, I wonder if they’ll make a chocolate BABY Jesus. Now that’s going too far!

OMG – the shoes! Of course, what’s really important when it comes to chocolate is the quality of the chocolate itsself. Those skulls look pretty top-notch in that regard; from the photo the keyboard could be hit-or-miss quality-wise.

Best post evar! I love the variety here. Another place to check for unique little chocolate gifts is etsy! There’s some amazing looking confections there, but to stick with the theme of this post…

Chocolate is what everyone wants for Christmas! BTW, if anyone out there needs a tester for these products, I’m game.

@Ingrid – I agree on the shoes completely. I’m not big on shoes myself in real life, but those are adorable. The keyboard looks good to me though, like creamy millk chocolate. (But maybe that’s just because it’s off limits for me!) There should be a mouse to go with it though, IMO.

I’m sad now. I wanted to order some chocolate skulls but their website says “Valerie Confections will return with an all new site shortly. Please check back soon.” — don’t you HATE when that happens?
