Blue M&Ms Reduce Spinal Injuries?

Apparently the blue M&M, or rather the blue dye in it, has been linked to reducing spine injuries by the University of Rochester Medical Center. The blue food dye called “Brilliant Blue G” was injected into lab rats with spinal injuries and those rats were able to regain most of their mobility. But as you can see, it made them a little blue.
